bauma 2025: Efficient thermal management solutions for off-highway vehicles
Esslingen (Germany), 19 February, 2025 – Heating and cooling systems from Eberspaecher guarantee comfort and safety in construction machinery, at all temperatures. The thermal management expert will be presenting its comprehensive portfolio for electric, hybrid and conventional drives at bauma 2025 from April 7 to 13 in Hall A4, Booth 249.
With years of experience, Eberspaecher develops systems that efficiently heat, ventilate and cool the vehicle interior. In air conditioning technology for electromobility, the specialist offers a wide range of systems for every requirement, including a holistic approach from HVAC to complete solutions: integrated, customer-specific thermal management systems for the vehicle interior, battery and engine. These can regulate the temperature of the traction battery (BTMS = Battery Thermal Management System) and the electric motor separately or in combination with the cabin (TMS = Thermal Management System). This not only saves money, but also electricity through the optimal use of energy. The integrated thermal management system therefore has a positive effect on the overall performance and range of the vehicle as well as the climate.
Energy gain thanks to heat pump
The Dualtronic heat pump version is a particularly energy-saving cabin air conditioning system for electric vehicles. Eberspaecher has developed an innovative and patented heat pump system that quickly clears the windows with minimal energy consumption. In frosty temperatures, the integrated all-electric PTC heater steps in to provide support. Eberspaecher is presenting the Falkon Dualtronic at bauma. It heats with up to 6 kW and cools with 7 kW.
All Eberspaecher HVAC units have the same design and dimensions in the version for electric, hybrid or conventional vehicles. The best-selling Falkon, for example, measures 297 x 432 x 167 mm as an EHVAC, EHHVAC, HVAC or heat pump. EHVAC systems are an uncomplicated solution for air conditioning the cabin with an electric heater and compressor. As a hybrid version, the Falkon EHHVAC uses the waste heat from the energy storage system and drive for heating and provides support with its electric PTC heater if required. Customers can therefore easily use them in all existing and future vehicle designs. This is how Eberspaecher is seamlessly shaping the transformation to e-mobility.
