Eberspächer offers comprehensive EMS services with in-depth automotive expertise. As an established Tier 1 supplier to all leading OEMs, the company meets all the requirements of modern vehicle development – from consulting and project management to quality assurance. Eberspächer transfers this expertise to other industries and complies with common standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition, it has extensive experience in Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262. High purchasing volumes for electronic components and printed circuit boards enable an efficient cost structure.

Hardware and Design

Eberspächer supports the entire hardware development process — from the initial idea to series production. Customized solutions that meet the highest requirements are developed at the Landau site. The focus is on zero-defect production, ensured by our own design and layout standards. Hardware and design reviews are carried out in close, iterative coordination with the customer. This creates transparency and quality right from the start. The implementation of safety-relevant components up to ASIL D is also carried out with a high level of expertise.

Purchasing Services

Eberspächer has a high global purchasing volume for electronic components and printed circuit boards. This creates attractive economies of scale that also directly benefit customers. In addition, a consistent ESD concept throughout the entire supply chain guarantees the protection of sensitive components – from procurement to delivery.

Electronic Production

Eberspächer manufactures highly automated products in Landau and Tianjin using state-of-the-art technology: various SMT lines with intelligent feeder systems enable maximum flexibility and efficiency. All steps in the PCB assembly process are fully traceable thanks to a seamless traceability system with process data recording and interlocking function. Inline AOI, in-circuit tests, and automated depaneling are used for quality assurance. Depending on the scope of production, customer-specific assemblies are created in further assembly processes.

Validation and Testing

Eberspächer is an expert in the most common validation standards, including LV123, LV124, LV148, and ISO 16750. Testing processes are tailored precisely to customer requirements and are carried out flexibly and efficiently. An in-house EMC laboratory enables comprehensive testing under shielded conditions. This eliminates the need for external interfaces. Environmental simulations according to customer specifications as well as high-voltage and high-current tests can also be carried out on site. In-house validation test benches and experience in setting up complex test systems complete the portfolio.
