To update your FlexCard Cyclone II (SE) follow these steps:

2. Update the firmware to version S4V2-F, using the file "FlexCard_Cyclone_II_SE_S4V2-F.rpd". For details about updating the firmware, please refer to the user manual included in the ZIP archive.

This package copies the FlexCard VIs to the Instr.lib palette in LabVIEW and installs driver files to your system. The system must meet the following requirements:

• Windows 2000/XP or LabVIEW RT
• LabVIEW 8.0 or later
• NI - VISA driver 3.4 or later. Can be downloaded from NI Homepage.

The library is compatible with the following devices:

• FlexCard Cyclone II (Firmware Version S2V0-F or later)
• FlexCard Cyclone II SE
• FlexCard PXI
• FlexCard PMC/PCI

Note: The LabVIEW library requires NI-VISA to access the FlexCard device. Only one driver type can be associted with one device at the same time. So if the originally delivered driver for the FlexCard is already installed on the system, you will have to switch to the VISA driver of the device you want to use. This can be done by executing the appropriate „Switch to [device] (VISA)“ in the location Start –> All Programms -> TZM -> FlexCard library for LabVIEW -> Switch Driver. It is possible to switch back to the native driver by using the „Switch to [device] (Native)“ command.

2. Update the firmware to version S4V2-F, using the file "FlexCard_PMC_S4V2-F.rpd". For details about updating the firmware, please refer to the user manual included in the ZIP archive.
